Covea recently hosted an 'Addressing Gender Imbalance' panel discussion and we were delighted that Nikki Daniels was invited to join the panel, alongside Adrian Furness - Claims and Operations Director at Covea, Ian Simons - Chartered Insurance Institute and Lucy Hodgson - Director at Eastwood & Partners.   Nikki was able to share her insights, provoke thinking and join the debates on addressing gender imbalance.  The event explored how we have a collective responsibility as leaders, influencers and role models in creating more gender balanced organisations, where blockages and barriers are removed to enable males and females to thrive equally.

Nikki commented 'The day dawned bright and cold in Halifax and I was not sure what to expect. What a great bunch of people. The audience were engaged and participated and we touched on some thorny issues looking for things we can all do better. Personal responsibility featured highly as did the recognition that as an industry we have a long way to go'.
