We have over 15 years experience delivering solutions to the insurance industry

Founded back in 2008, e-Zee is the market leader in providing strategic consultancy and IT support services within the insurance industry. We work with key customer segments, including Brokers, Insurers, MGA's, Insurtechs and Software Houses.


We help our clients deliver a wide range of IT projects. These include electronic trading, product development and testing, data migration and system implementation. We also offer education for most systems and solutions.

My experience in various operational directors roles allows me to bring discipline and structure to all of the projects and activities within e-Zee

Eloise began her career in data analytics and business intelligence taking on ownership of complex spend analysis and monitoring projects in both the public and private sectors.  The management of important customer relationships was key to this role.  Eloise’s sharp business mind led her to become a strategic project manager, able to deliver multiple concurrent projects on time and to budget and to a high-quality standard. In 2007 she took on her first multi discipline operations director appointment managing multiple departments from finance to human resources and IT.  Eloise was thrilled to become part of the e-Zee team in 2012. Her focus in e-Zee is keeping the operational side of the business running smoothly.  She has gained solid industry experience during her time with us.

Ian Josephs
Director
My expertise is focussed upon Business Analysis and Project Management. I’ve delivered a number of key change projects to time and budget in the London market, and am delighted to be re-joining e-Zee, and helping customers with my experience, from Broking, General Insurance, E-trading, MGAs and London Market initiatives.

Ian has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.  He has spent the past 13 years in the London Market.  Ian joined e-Zee in 2023 as a Director offering consultancy in the composite insurer, MGA and London Market IT space.  In 2014, Ian set up his own consultancy where he delivered IT Change Projects for Lloyd’s syndicates, specialising in Policy Administration System selection, implementation, and upgrades. His first ever contract was for e-Zee, supporting a software selection project. His key experience comes from his time as Electronic business manager and Head of Distribution for Fortis and MMA.  This means that he is well placed to assist with both General Insurance and London Market propositions for the business.

Ian Whyte

I have worked in insurance IT for well over 20 years predominantly as a ProductWriter developer for several insurers, working on an extensive range of products

Ian has been involved in the insurance industry for more than 20 years working within the IT sector. During this time he has worked with various technologies and programming languages, but most significantly as an experienced ProductWriter developer. Ian has worked with various insurers and has extensive knowledge of both insurance and technology procedures and best practices. Over the years Ian has built and maintained many different types of ProductWriter schemes including Commercial, Motor Fleet, Household, Private Motor, as well as bespoke XML dictionary products. He has extensive experience of the project lifecycle for requirement gathering, design, build and testing. He has also trained and mentored numerous people in the use of ProductWriter. Alongside ProductWriter Ian has also gained experience and training in many relatable skills.

Nikki Daniels

I started life as an insurance broker but for the last 20 years I have been helping insurance businesses deliver their insurance IT projects. Specialisations: Project Management, system implementation, business analysis, business reviews
Nikki has worked with Brokers, Insurers MGA’s and investors for over 35 years. Starting in Broking she quickly moved into technology as it was being developed and implemented. Now focussed mainly on strategic oversight for Insurtech businesses, she provides a wealth of knowledge of how our industry operates and why.
Lawrence Caley
Non-Executive Director
My 35 years in the insurance business has encompassed all aspects of personal and commercial lines trading, through my time at Aviva, to participating on a number of industry-wide e-commerce committees and being a founding director and shareholder of e-Zee Insurance Solutions in 2008
Progressing through Underwriting, Marketing, Scheme Management, Finance and IT, the final twenty years of Lawrence's career with Aviva concerned all aspects of Software House management.  Responsible for contracts, budgets, technical team management and market software delivery, Lawrence also represented the company on a number of Industry committees and bodies, chairing both the Electronic Trading Practises Group and the Electronic Trading Insurer Group.  Leaving Aviva in 2009 Lawrence joined Insurance Initiatives Ltd and played a key role in developing the Industry’s leading data enrichment platform.  Helping to architect the infrastructure and processes to enable the UK’s General Insurers to benefit from real time data enrichment and assist in the fight against quotation fraud.  Lawrence was a founding director of eZee Insurance Solutions.
Kevin Child
Senior Consultant
My expertise is primarily in the intermediary channel where I have worked in various roles for over 30 years. Specialisations: Change Management & Strategic Development, Business Analysis, System Selection and Implementation

Kevin has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry including 8 years as a composite Insurance Broker and 24 years at a leading worldwide software house specialising in insurance solutions (SSP Ltd).  In 2014 Kevin joined e-Zee as a Director offering consultancy to the broker channel in all areas of broking and IT.  His key experience comes from his time at the leading software house where as a business head he managed development (including offshore), product teams and product management, support, training and sales.  Essentially, Kevin was responsible for 3 main broking solutions from design, through development and deployment to ongoing support and the strategic roadmap.  Deployments were to all sizes of broker from smaller high streets to global players.

Alex Chapman
Polaris Productwriter Developer

As a Polaris developer for the last 10 years, Alex brings over 40 years of insurance experience to the table.  His background in underwriting and business analysis means Alex approaches product development with a detailed understanding of pricing and risk acceptance specifications 'in the wild'.  Underwriting for a number of UK insurers his breadth of knowledge gives our customers the opportunity to work with a developer who speaks their language and understands their challenges. 

 

Jeremy Foster
Polaris Productwriter Developer

A highly experienced insurance leader with a track record of over 30 years in provincial and London markets.  Specialising in the delivery of complex projects and change management through all the component stages, Jeremy is particularly skilled in Polaris Product Writer; IT finance; Software Asset Management, work force planning (including down-sizing) and risk management.  He has previously held roles in broking and underwriting.

Derek Polley
Business Analysis

Derek has worked in insurance for just over 40 years in the UK and USA. He has considerable experience in management, project management, business/systems analysis and development with a primary focus on the insurance industry.  Derek has always maintained a balance between the technical and business elements of his roles.  With varied underwriting, broking, claims and accounting systems experience and as a former developer he works closely with technical and non-technical resources and customers. He has worked on start-up initiatives, legacy system decommissioning and new system implementations including data migrations in Agile and traditional environments and documentation development.

Penny White
Office Manager

An operations expert with over 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry.  With particular specialism in the management of software house resources, Penny is responsible for the deployment and administration of the e-Zee training team and the supplier base.
