4. How We Use Your Personal Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use it in the following circumstances:
- Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into, or have entered into, with you.
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

We do this to provide our services to you, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and keep you informed about our products and services.
Generally, we do not rely on consent as a legal basis for processing your personal data, other than in relation to sending direct marketing communications to you via email or text message. We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Disclosures of Your Personal Data
We may share your personal data with the following parties:
- Data processors carrying out work on our behalf, who are required to process your data only on our instructions and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
- Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or assets. Any new owners will use your personal data in the same way as set out in this policy.
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes.
6. International Transfers
Some of our external third parties are based outside the UK, so their processing of your personal data may involve a transfer of data outside the UK.
Whenever we transfer your personal data internationally, we ensure an appropriate level of protection is afforded to it by implementing at least one of the following safeguards:
- We will only transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection by the UK Government (known as adequacy regulations).
- Where we use providers based in the US, we may transfer data to them under the UK-US Data Bridge, where applicable, which requires them to provide a similar level of protection for personal data. For further details, see the ICO’s guidance on international transfers.
- Where neither of the above applies, we use the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or equivalent approved transfer mechanisms.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. This involves a transfer of data to Google LLC in the United States. This transfer is made under the UK-US Data Bridge, under which Google LLC is a certified participant.
Please contact us at dataprivacymanager@ezeeis.co.uk if you want further information on the specific transfer mechanisms we use.
7. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, accessed, altered or disclosed without authorisation. Access to your personal data is limited to employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

- Request transfer (data portability): to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent: at any time where we are relying on consent to process your data. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
